We are hiring a childcare assistant in an international school, assisting with lessons and childcare. You will work alongside native teachers to support children in realizing their independence and curiosity to the fullest.
We will make our decision after considering factors such as qualifications, work experience, and English proficiency.
仕事内容
Provide daycare and educational support in an English environment for children aged 1.5–6 years.
Assist native teachers to create a safe, nurturing environment for children.
Main tasks include:
・Monitoring children’s health and safety.
・Supporting nap time, meals, and toileting/diaper changing.
・Assisting in lessons led by native teachers (supporting English-based activities).
・Leading outings to the park and ensuring safety during such outings.
・Planning and executing events (such as Halloween, seasonal presentations).
・Bus pick-up/drop-off accompaniment (optional, rotation system) and interacting with guardians at drop-off/pick-up.
Class Assignment:
・Ages handled: 1.5 – 6 years.
・Age group cannot be chosen; assignment is determined by the school.

The school has multiple campuses in Tokyo and Kawasaki (in Minato, Chūō, Setagaya, Bunkyō wards, and Kawasaki city), and the recruitment is for six of those locations:

勤務時間
7:30〜18:00
shift system
5 days per week
※Part-time positions are also negotiable (subject to visa restrictions).
休日・休暇
Two days off weekly, over 130 days off annually (in 2025 projected to be ~135 days for Monday–Friday workers)
School holiday breaks: Golden Week (10 days), Summer (8 days), Year-end/New Year (16 days) — these align with school closure dates
Other leave: paid leave, condolence leave, special leave, maternity & childcare leave (with usage history)

応募資格
◆Must-haves:
A genuine love for children
Experience caring for children (e.g., babysitter)
Already residing in Japan
Japanese at conversational daily-level
English at business to native level
Holders of a valid Technical/Human Resources/International Services Visa or Spouse Visa
(Piano skills or craft skills are not required)
◆Preferred / Advantageous:
Childcare license
